I obviously didn't grow up in the 70's when Led Zeppelin's music was taking over, but seeing a cover band was the closest I can get to that experience. ZOSO - The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience, is (as you can probably tell by now) a Led Zeppelin cover band - and an awesome one too! I recently had rented a lens that I wanted to try out and possibly take some pictures for a band to see what it'd be like. When I saw this band on the event calendar at Ventura Music Hall, I thought "Now THAT would be a cool band to take pictures of!". I contacted the venue and eventually got a photo pass for what would be my first time shooting a live concert.

I know there are several Zeppelin cover bands out there, but this band really sounded like the real deal. From the outfits to Jimmy's legendary rifts, ZOSO really made me feel like I was in the 70's with their performance. It was a pleasure shooting pictures of ZOSO, and I enjoyed singing along to all of Zeppelin's biggest hits.
